The Worldly King

From the steppes
and frost covered hills
descends a man who
will bend the world
to his will.
Before he can begin
his earthly quest,
revenge must be his
for his fathers death.
He thunders across
the open plains,
leading the power
of the East.
None can stand before
his relentless force.
His foes are vanquished,
banished to the past.
Alexander is fallen and
Rome is no more,
the time for the Kahns
is nigh.
This man is a
Warlord,
the greatest of all.
He is Ghengis Kahn
the Horse-Lord and
Warrior King
from the East.

Trials of War

The brave sons
of our land
who left for
war.
To fight for all
and a just cause.
To free the world
from the grip of death
only to have
death grip them.
In the beaches and
deserts you fought
for all.
Like rats in a trap you
held back the tides of war.

From the jungles to the sea
you were always the first
and last to fall.
Untrained you were but
like Gods you fought,
sacrificing your lives
so we could see a
new day rise.
Left as Boys,
Fell as Men.
Returned from the world
As Mighty
ANZACS!

Our own Doing

The torment of the world
lives in us all.
What we believe and
how we act,
destroy's the trust we
strive to create.
This plague of mankind
separates us all,
it divides us into feuding
groups,
bent on war.
It splits our cultures,
separates are races.
It sends us to war
to fight and die
for a few older men
that believe they are right.
It destroy's cultures and
razes cities to the ground.
They all tell
of there only being on true God
but they make us fight
and die over who's version
is right.
This plague of mankind
is religion itself.
Belief and Faith
it causes all this and
religion, well
its at the Core.

The Master of us All

It defeats all it creates.
Throughout its course it
created structures so great
they defy their master
withstanding the ravages
it throws at tem.
Eventually they lose as
the master has forever
to see them through.
It enabled empires to rise
on the backs of mankind,
giving knowledge and
understanding to
everything that comes
into contact with it.
Bringing life and death
in a a constant cycle
never deviating from
ist path.
Everything we create
it destroy's, never once
stopping to pause, but
moving mercilessly forward
never straying from its course.
This destroyer is everywhere
and everything.
It defies Kings and Empires,
even Humans themselves.
It withers everything
an consumes all.
This menace is
Time.

Mystery of the Capstone

Khufu's gift to the world
a mighty stone structure
in the Sun Gods land.
The first thing he sees
as he awakens to rise
is this monument bathed in his gaze.
Upon its peak, cast in Gold
stood the Capstone a gift of old.
Hidden away in a wondrous age
within the greatest monuments of the day.
Broken down and scattered they are
until Tartarus shines its deadly light once more.
Rebuilt it must be or suffer we must,
the fury and wrath of the Sun God.
With Ra's prophet overhead a
mighty quest must begin.
From the new world to
the old world and countries in between.
All shall seek the mysterious stone of gold.
Two for power, one for peace
the quest has begun, so quake within.
When the prophets light has set seven times
Ra's destroyer shall bath the world
in an unforgiving blaze.
Scorching all that stand in his way.
the pieces locations are encoded in Toth,
a language so old it precedes time itself.
From trap laden mines to the tomb
of the only earthly ruler.
It is to these locations our heroes must go
to retrieve the Capstone of glittering gold.
Before Ra's implacable destroyer devours us all.

Wildlife are becoming too urbanised

I agree with this statement completly, everywhere you look animals are so used to our presence that they no longer recgonise us as a danger which only effects them in the end. They have become so used to our level of activity and now depend on us for food and shelter in our buildings, what we are doing is destroying their instincts and endangering their survival one species at a time. We are disrupting the natural scale of life by 'Domesticating' these creatures, if this continues they may depend completly on us for survival.
