With dawn it comes,
over the rolling hills,
expelling the
dark
and replacing it with day.
Its blaze is revealing,
it burns through the
haze,
showing the beauty and
wonder that lies
in wait for its,
awakenig ray.
It is an orb of hope,
a cure for the dark.
It was worshiped for
power, to return
a new.
To expel the darkness
that flows in its
wake.
Its our life, our hope,
our nightly prayer
that with the turning of
the world,
it will rise again
with its life giving
ray's.

Fly Away Peter Poem
Fly away peter,
fly away paul,
there go the Aussies
off to war.
Upon their ships of
iron and wood,
they sail to the land
where the battle
unfolds.
To the trenches
they go,
with spirits high,
not looking back,
to eager to prove.
They fight and,
they fall,
in all parts of
this war.
Yet more surge forward
from a nation enraged.
These men,
these heroes fight
another mans
war.
Come back Peter,
but where is
Paul?
fly away paul,
there go the Aussies
off to war.
Upon their ships of
iron and wood,
they sail to the land
where the battle
unfolds.
To the trenches
they go,
with spirits high,
not looking back,

They fight and,

in all parts of

Yet more surge forward
from a nation enraged.
These men,
these heroes fight

Come back Peter,
but where is
Paul?
The Mistakes of our Fathers
With the dawn of
the day
comes the rising
sun.
Bathing the land
with hope and light.
Giving life with each ray.
But with its height
it reveals a
horrible scene,
a black land of
destruction,
where no hope
exists.
In this dark land
live
the dead.
Changing life into
Desolation.
The surface is,
ripped,
torn
and burnt.
Nothing Lives,
everything
falls.
It starts with the feuding
of the old,
they send the young,
to finish what they
begun.
It buries the land
in a deathly
haze.
So many
enter,
yet so little,
leave.
the day
comes the rising
sun.
Bathing the land
with hope and light.
Giving life with each ray.
But with its height
it reveals a
horrible scene,
a black land of
destruction,
where no hope

In this dark land

The Guardian of Time
Hwen from stone
and covered by ages,
revealed to the world
by the winds that
concealed you.
The body of a lion,
wings of an eagle,
the tail of an ox
and the head of a
man
that wishes to be a
God.
Your purpose unknown,
your mission a secrete,
oh the riddles you hold,
the mysteries you guard.
Always crouching,
ready to strike
a silent guradian throughout
the ages.
You stand in front
of the pyramids
you guard, never striking,
always watching.
Plaguing your gazes
with riddles and
clues,
yet never revaeling
your mystery.
The Guardian Sphinx
a sentinal of old,
your gaze never
wavers,
as you watch over
the land,
that gave you
birth.
and covered by ages,
revealed to the world
by the winds that
concealed you.
The body of a lion,

The Worldly King
From the steppes
and frost covered hills
descends a man who
will bend the world
to his will.
Before he can begin
his earthly quest,
revenge must be his
for his fathers death.
He thunders across
the open plains,
leading the power
of the East.
None can stand before
his relentless force.
His foes are vanquished,
banished to the past.
Alexander is fallen and
Rome is no more,
the time for the Kahns
is nigh.
This man is a
Warlord,
the greatest of all.
He is Ghengis Kahn
the Horse-Lord and
Warrior King
from the East.

Trials of War
The brave sons
of our land
who left for
war.
To fight for all
and a just cause.
To free the world
from the grip of death
only to have
death grip them.
In the beaches and
deserts you fought
for all.
Like rats in a trap you
held back the tides of war.
From the jungles to the sea
you were always the first
and last to fall.
Untrained you were but
like Gods you fought,
sacrificing your lives
so we could see a
new day rise.
Left as Boys,
Fell as Men.
Returned from the world
As Mighty
ANZACS!
of our land
who left for
war.
To fight for all
and a just cause.
To free the world
from the grip of death
only to have
death grip them.
In the beaches and

Fell as Men.
Returned from the world
As Mighty
ANZACS!

Our own Doing
The torment of the world
lives in us all.
What we believe and
how we act,
destroy's the trust we
strive to create.
This plague of mankind
separates us all,
it divides us into feuding
groups,
bent on war.
It splits our cultures,
separates are races.
It sends us to war
to fight and die
for a few older men
that believe they are right.
It destroy's cultures and
razes cities to the ground.
They all tell
of there only being on true God
but they make us fight
and die over who's version
is right.
This plague of mankind
is religion itself.
Belief and Faith
it causes all this and
religion, well
its at the Core.
